A tool with multi-functionality for your SEO and Content Marketing Strategy. We all must have used several tools for SEO Research and Content Marketing Analysis. Coming across dozens of tools in search engine claiming to be the best from one another.

But the real result somewhat really differs and contradict to their claims. I have used several tools. Some were fabulous and some were somewhat good but not up to the mark.

Recently I came across one keyword research and analysis tool name SemScoop. Well, it seemed at the first to be somewhat a normal tool having some keyword research and analysis stuff in it.

Well, somehow we were able to get the business plan access to this tool, thanks to Sem Scoop team. To be honest I was kinda sceptic at first for being a normal or regular keyword analysis tool.

But when I explored the tool in detail, I was really amazed at its various multifunctionality usability. It wasn’t just your mere keyword research or analysis tool. But was a Content Marketing analysis tool too.

For most of us content marketer and digital marketer or any business or agencies, it would be a great tool to explore and juice the real SEO benefits from it. And not just some small benefit, a huge benefit.

When you explore the site SemScoop you will find a keyword menu bar on the top side of the page in the middle. Click on it and it will let you land on its keyword tool page.

At first, we’ll be discussing keyword analysis.

As you can clearly see the image above, starting from the left side it is where you can add your query for your keyword research one at a time. The country you want to target or select and the language.

You can also find down three tabs:

  • One stating of keywords to be imported which we will discuss soon
  • Second about creating a project that you want preferably like a folder name or client name you want
  • Third Recent searches, letting you select choices from your recent searches.

As discussed above regarding import keywords, these features help you analyse your set of particular keywords and analyse them in details. Which we’ll explore further.

Here I have used a set of 4 keywords, whereas you have the option to add up to 700 keywords to analyse. It is quite a great feature to analyse the keyword at bulk.

For the set of keywords ideas that we have used it will showcase you the results with these details in the left-hand side with the other details on the right-hand side.

If we click on to the growth hacking keyword then it will show us the details about that keyword, and so on for the keyword, we want to analyse.

For the keyword Digital Marketing it is showing several metrics and analysis. On the top right-hand corner, it shows the graph, consisting of 12 months of data in it.

Its actual trend and volume of that keyword, monthly and year wise.

Down we go from the left-hand side it is showing us the keyword difficulty which is 62 and is a very high competitive one.

Moving on the next, average DA is 73% meaning that search engine first 100 results have an average of 73 DA consisting of this particular keyword.

Further moving next we see 15yr, which means that the average age of that domain is 15 and has been active since long which are ranking on the top search engine result for this keyword.

758 Referring domains, meaning there are 758 referring domains who have given a backlink to the top search engine result page. Whose page consists of this keyword.

The estimated Content-length, one of my favourite metrics which shows that in order to rank first in the search engine page I need at least 3436 counts of words.  Which for sure a good start of strategic planning.

With so much of information, it becomes quite understandable that these are the things that need to be taken care of and this what we need to do in rank to rank and have a proper SEO and Content Marketing strategy.

Content Marketing and Deep Keyword Research and Analysis

This feature is really fabulous, or to say kinda darling to me. This is a dream come true for any content marketer and SEO expert.

This doesn’t just show you the top 10 search query of the result page. But also, shows you the maximum details that you require for a perfect SEO and Content Marketing strategy.

On the above image, you can see a few tabs like Top Search Results, Links Profile, Content Analysis and Social Engagement.

Top Search Results

On the above image, the results show regarding the Top search results of content on the search page. With the details like:

  • Domain Authority
  • Domain Age
  • Page Authority
  • Page Age
  • Content Size
  • Referring Domain

This features and details that are provided are quite remarkable and helpful for SEO and Content Strategy. Page age, Content Size and Referring domains add an extra flavour in the details.

A much need details that are required for you in doing a competitor analysis. Because you need to understand where you’re going and what you need to have in order to excel.

Link Profile

Moving into the next Link Profile, which kind of gives you details of the search query. How many links it has got? Its referring domains, DA, PA, Moz Rank, Moz trust, Backlinks.

As well as you can see Link C blocks, which means that the search link has got a link from different IPs which has helped it in gaining the trust score. Also, you can see the dropdown option of Top Backlink and Top Anchors for every search result.

Content Analysis

Moving further there is a Content analysis page. This section is quite amazing and enticing to use. Also, making your user experience and research more easy and convenient.

Here you can see the On-page score, Content Strength and Keyword Density score. But that’s not it. There’s more to it.

Moving on the right section of the above image we can see the keyword used in page URL, title, description, meta keywords and exact domain match.

And when clicked on it will show the keywords used in there and their format.

As you can see the yellow part above highlighted, when clicked shows you the number of keywords used and their sequence as well. Which is quite an amazing feature for in terms of creating an SEO strategy as well Content Marketing strategy too?

Similarly, when clicked on the likewise link on the page will show you the related keywords used in it.

The next section shows the social engagement related to the search results. Which is an add on feature to it. It shows the user base and interest in social media.

All in all, if we talk about SEO strategy based research and analysis this tool nails in the result. Most importantly it gives an add on feature for Content Marketing platform too.

This feature let you explore keywords related to your domain. For example, Digital Marketing it will show you keywords related to it depending on the related queries.

In here we’ve used marketing as a keyword and got the results keywords related to it. It is showing 595 keywords revolving around that keyword.

You can only input one keyword or query at a time, unlike the import feature which allows you 700 at a time. 

To which I felt a bit down, for which the standard it has. It can allow more query or keyword to add for more faster results for the user.

Data Validation and Authentication

In the process of analysing the data, I also checked the authentication of the data. Whether the inputs to which it is giving is valid or not.

So, I managed to compare it with Google Ads or Adwords research and put that into the test.

Here you can see the comparison between the Google Keyword research and SEM Scoop Keyword research analysis.

The data in Google Ads is an estimation, from one minimum value to maximum value where the result will fall somewhere in between hundreds, thousands to millions.

(e.g.) For Growth Hacking it is showing 1k-10k in AdWords results, whereas, it is showing the value of 5,400 in Sem Scoop.

Which is an approx value or somewhere the value is an actual value of the search volume.

In SEM Scoop it will show the average estimated value of Google Ads estimated data. To be precise it provides you with the approx value.

Which is far more desirable and have more usability than a basic estimation.

In terms of CPC value too, Adwords gives you the estimated value of clicks for a top of the page bid and below the page bid.

In SEM Scoop it gives you an average value of the top and below of the bid strategy. Which is quite a decent and right value to what an advertiser would require.

In terms of data validation and authentication, SEM Scopp nails the results it showcases. Which is almost an approx value.

We must understand that the Google Keyword Planner gives us an estimated value from one rage to another.

Whereas SEM Scoop or other famous tools provide us with the average or approx value of the results. Which is way more precise and authenticate.

Also, validating the results shows the authentication of the results making it more a quite remarkable tool for SEO and Content Marketing analysis.

The price seemed really fair to me and affordable. Unlike other tools available which are quite pricey and sometimes gets out of the budget.

Conclusion

SEM Scoop is a remarkable tool for SEO analysis and Content Marketing analysis. It has got some amazing feature which is really spooky at a time though sneaking into your competitor’s page with such details.

Also, provide with deep analysis and cut to cut results. With customization features available into it.

However, there are few more features that we would like to have for SEM Scoop in future. Because it has got a lot of potentials and can crack the nuts of another available tool as well.

  • Increasing up to at least 5 keywords or query for keyword analysis
  • Increasing the number of keywords import feature from 700 to 1000
  • Having a feature of content template analysis, with a score of on page and relevancy of keywords. Which would surely complete the Content Marketing tool for the users
  •  Having a complete list of backlinks of the competitors.

It’s an amazing tool for an individual as well as for a business or agencies to use this tool. Well, this is the beginning. Hopefully, they will add more features to it. Vitsmuni welcomes team SEM Scoop for allowing us to use this amazing tool.
